Middle School students will be attending the evening production of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol” on Thursday, December 18 at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Winter Park. The cost is $20. Students attending will depart the school at 5:45 p.m. and return at 11:00 p.m.

The Fall Festival is quickly approaching and the PTO is still in need of donations for this fun event.

Donations needed are: canned soda, juice pouches (Capri Sun), Bottles of water, hot dog and hamburger buns, 2 liters of soda and jars of pickles.

Also, there will be a silent auction themed basket for each grade level. Contributions for these baskets are needed by October 23^rd. If you are interested in donating, the basket themes are as follows:

Our field day on June 4 is approaching fast. We are still looking for donations to help make our day a success. Any donations can be brought into the front office. The key items that we need are:

• Bottled water
• Gatorade
• Lemonade
• Bags of ice

We are also in need of volunteers to help out that day. Volunteers will be needed from 8:30-12:30 p.m. to assist in working a station. Please remember that you must have the required affidavit and background check on file in order to volunteer.

We have a fantastic school year ahead of us. As we anticipate the memories, friendships and special times ahead, we’re also looking forward to one of our favorite traditions—the yearbook. We will accept early bird yearbook orders from now until January 16, specially priced at $20.
